Gavin Williams – Producer

Gavin is a Melbourne born actor and director. In 2006 he moved to Sydney to complete Sydney Theatre School’s Diploma of Theatre Performance and has worked in independant theatre and film since. In 2008 he returned to Sydney Theatre School to complete the Advanced Classical Acting course. In 2010 he has returned again to the school as a teacher and director. His directing credits include NSW Lotteries, This is Heaven, and Tea’s Gone Cold (A play he also wrote for Sydney Theatre School), Find Me and Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors.

In 2010 he also founded Steam Productions, with the successful From Chekhov with Love. In 2011 Gavin moved himself and the company to Mebourne where he has since performed in Melbourne Boys at the Malthouse Theatre, Landscape Dreaming at La Mama and in Candlelight Productions’ critically acclaimed and wildly successful Voices: The Carrical Project.

His film and television credits, among many others, include Underbelly III – The Golden Mile (2010), Equilateral (2010), The Opposite of Chocolate (2009), and The Trouble with Woody (2007).
